World Class Instruction
Established in 1992, the Jean Jacques Machado Academy is one of the oldest Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu schools in the United States. At the time of its opening, it joined a very small but exclusive list of academies offering Jiu-Jitsu to the American public. It is considered one of the pioneers of the expansion of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu throughout North America.
Today it remains highly regarded as one of the premiere Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu schools in the world. The state-of-the-art facility is home to students from all walks of life who are aspiring to achieve their own personal training goals. The Academy's competition team includes numerous regional, national and world champions. It is not uncommon for an average class to include at least 10 black belts.
The academy classes are conducted in a safe and supportive environment. All classes are taught by either Jean Jacques Machado or by a certified black belt instructor.
